Her dedication to improving patient outcomes and passion for diabetes care led her to pursue advanced studies, earning a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management and completing a Master in Nurse Practitioner, culminating in her endorsement to practice as an advanced clinician.
Ana Liza delivers comprehensive diabetes management services, leveraging her specialised training and extensive expertise. Her services encompass prescribing and initiating medications, managing diabetes independently, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing tailored diabetes management plans. She collaborates closely with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, team-based approach to patient care.
Ana Liza supports patients with a wide range of diabetes-related needs, such as managing complex and non-complex Type 1 Diabetes cases, providing support for newly diagnosed and established Type 2 Diabetes patients, and offering insulin therapy and education for Type 3c Diabetes, including pre- and post-operative care for pancreatic surgery. Appointments are only available on Saturdays between 8am and 1pm.
Referral is not required but preferred for this appointment​, as it would assist in the consultation.

Your appointment will be approximately 40 minutes to an hour.
First appointment will be a face to face appointment, followed by two telehealth appointments.
Subsequently, follow up appointments can be either face to face or on telehealth.

Payment is to be made upfront and we will claim Medicare Rebate for you.
